British Butterflies Birdwatching almost inevitably led to butterfly watching and the challenge of capturing these beautiful creatures on "film" is one of the most frustrating aspects of wildlife photography! Most of these photographs were taken with a 100-400mm lens - not the ideal butterfly equipment but it does allow me to get the shots causing little disturbance to these delicate and flighty creatures.
